Start Fishing Now! Nez Perce Tribe Fishing Permits can be printed upon the completion of your online purchase.          

A Nez Perce Tribe Salmon, Steelhead or Trout Pond Fishing permit is valid for the year you want to fish.            

Different licenses are issued to Residents and Nonresidents.            

Non-residents can purchase a 1-day (trout only), 3-day or full Year (Salmon and/or Steelhead) fishing permits.            

Residents can purchase a 1-day (trout only) or full Year (Salmon and/or Steelhead) fishing permits.            

2-pole permits are included in the purchase price for Salmon and Steelhead.            

On the reservation kids age 13 and under may fish without a permit if accompanied by a valid permit holder.​

    Nez Perce Tribe Reservation

    Nez Perce Tribe Reservation Boundaries

    The following areas are open to fishing within the Nez Perce Reservation boundaries:

     

    ~ Nez Perce Tribe Fishing reservation boundaries start at Hatwai Creek (next to the Clearwater River Casino) on the west boundary, going upstream the Clearwater River to the Confluence of the Middle Fork Clearwater River.

    ~ North Fork Clearwater River is open from the confluence to the Clearwater river upstream to Dworshak Dam.

    ~ Middle Fork Clearwater is open from the confluence with the South Fork Clearwater River upstream to HWY 12 Bridge at milepost #79.
    ~ South Fork Clearwater, from its confluence with Clearwater River upstream to Reservation Boundary ar Harpster.
